'The Future of the World Cup for South Africa'
Sport News - South African President Jacob Zuma was convinced that his country took a big advantage with the infrastructure that was built after the World Cup and it was beneficial for the long term.

Zuma also responded to doubts about the ability of South Africa to host the biggest sporting event on earth. He believes his country will rise up and become a better South Africa than ever before.

"After the preparation and hard work over the years, tonight we can celebrate the end of a long journey of preparation for our first World Cup," Zuma said in a speech prepared for the opening later.

"The development of this infrastructure will continue as a World Cup legacy for the benefit of South African society in the future, and facilitate the community to fix all the existing services and infrastructure."

"After the final party ended, we must be assured through effective development programs, that football was meant to unify and our society as part of World Cup history," continued the 60-year-old president, as quoted from Reuters.

Agreed with Mr Zuma, President of FIFA Sepp Blatter also said the tournament will inspire their own beliefs about South Africa and other countries. "I believe this will be the best World Cup ever."

World Cup fever has menggandrungi all groups in South Africa. One of the many indicators is that many local companies who dismiss employees on the day of Bafana Bafana matches.

"The challenge for workers is fixed to ensure productivity during the month," said Zuma
