Sport News - Dani Pedrosa has grown into one strong competitor in the race for the MotoGP title. That is why Honda did not hesitate to continue the cooperation with the Spanish rider for the next two years.
During a career in motor racing, Pedrosa was never separated from Honda. He has been joined since 2001 while still appearing in the 125 cc class and won world titles in the 250cc class.
After rising to the MotoGP class, Pedrosa has not been able to dedicate the title to the Honda. Their best result was the runner-up world champion in 2007. But in the last three years, Pedrosa appear consistent and become one of the favorites to win.
This season, Pedrosa has a great chance to realize his dream of becoming world champion. With six races remaining, the young 24 year old is now in the order of two standings and scoring two consecutive wins.
"We've had success together and we can get more in the future. For a long time we have a good relationship and have enjoyed success together is also facing difficulties," said Pedrosa quoted by Autosport.
"Our goal is to win the race in every week and menjurarai MotoGP. I believe we have the ability to do so."
The deal was also greeted warmly by Honda. Pedrosa ability supported by a qualified motor is believed will make the competition tighter title.
"Dani was in his best performances and has been fused with the RC212V to form a remarkable combination. We believe his relationship with the motor and the team will make us a strong competitor in the race for the MotoGP championship title for the next two seasons," said President of Honda, Tetsuo Suzuki.
