Making the First Position Rossi Confident
Sport News - The first position in the free practice sessions I create a Valentino Rossi feel comfortable and confident. Even so the team still have an important task choosing the right tire.
Rossi recorded the best time at the opening session which took place on Friday (08/10/2010) noon CST. "This is a good start that we back off and I judged that the setting motor is good," said Yamaha rider in MotoGP's official website.
"I feel very comfortable and so far my shoulder's fine," he said referring to body parts that require surgery.
"We are confident that we can make some progress tomorrow and be in the best form to reach the front row at the afternoon session (qualifying)," VR46 straightforward.
Rossi's team manager Davide Brivio judge that his side still have a job that is not less important matter of selecting the right tire. This is related to the temperature of the hot Sepang. Temperatures expected to reach 38 degrees Celsius, while temperatures on the track 54 degrees Celsius.
"The speed we look good here but this is just the first session and much work we had to do. Circuit is not in the best condition. I think quite slippery but it will improve conditions at the weekend."
"Tomorrow we will work select Bridgestone tires and perfect setting for qualification purposes," lid Brivio.
