Sport News - Dani Pedrosa maintain the momentum of their performance on Saturday (08/14/2010) by also winning the MotoGP qualifying session of the Czech Republic. He got the pole position at 40 seconds past the closing session.

After becoming the best in the second practice, Pedrosa also recorded the fastest time in the session to determine the starting grid for the race tomorrow. He raced ahead of the session finished with a record of one minute 56.508 seconds.

It beat the record of achievement at a time when Ben Spies from Yamaha Tech 3, which eventually had to settle for second place. The temporary head of the competition, Jorge Lorenzo, ranked only third, after thrown from his Yamaha at the last minute as well.

Ducati rider Casey Stoner get a start position of number four, one place above the Valentino Rossi, who also fell from his motorcycle in the late laps. Five other drivers who fill the top 10 is Andrea Dovizioso, Colin Edwards, Nicky Hayden, Hector Barbera, and Loris Capirossi.

Meanwhile, the Suzuki rider Alvaro Bautista received serious injuries after falling from his motorcycle in the third exercise today. Rookie Spaniard was determined to miss the race tomorrow, even there is a possibility so on until the season ends.
