Jakarta - The resignation of Japan's MotoGP schedule complained of many parties. But not so with Valentino Rossi, the reigning world champion in 2009 was actually grateful because he had a shoulder injury time to heal.

As is known, Rossi when practicing motocross accident, about a week ago. He fell and suffered pain in the shoulder.

Although not serious, but injury has the potential to interfere with the performance of Rossi at the Japanese Grand Prix which was originally scheduled on 25 April. However, due to the eruption of Mount Eyjafjallajökull, the race pushed back to October 3. So the race will directly 'jump' to the third series of the Spanish GP was held on May 2.

Although somewhat disappointed that the Japanese GP postponed, but Rossi was benefited. Therefore, 31-year-old Italian has more time to recover the injuries.

"Of course I was disappointed we did not go to Japan, Yamaha cage, but we'll get there in October and now for me (the situation) is quite beneficial to have extra time," said Rossi, who quoted from the Crash.

"I'm not too sick when they expire when her motocross but my shoulder pain. So, really nice to get extra time for recovery."

Although not healed properly, Moto GP world champion five times, hopes the injury does not affect his performance at the Spanish Grand Prix later. "I do not know how the injury was to the effect (appearance) me this week, but I hope not too much," said Rossi.
