Substitute Rossi Still Question Mark
Sport News - Valentino Rossi left the hospital after being treated post-surgery. But who would replace him is still a question mark until now.
"Vale has left the hospital today. He will undergo a period of healing. We intend to return at Brno GP in August. We'll see you later," writes Yamaha boss Davide Brivio in his Twitter account.
Besides preaching the state of The Doctor, Brivio also slightly leaking things about Rossi's replacement. However, he could not yet say who it was though it was telling when it could be driving a replacement rider.
"In the next two races, there are no successors in the Yamaha team. Starting from Barcelona we will have replacement drivers while waiting for the Vale."
"Of course nothing can replace Vale. Yamaha just felt that we should support this sport and therefore there should be 16 drivers on the grid."
"That's why Yamaha will continue to have two drivers while waiting for recovery Vale. Vale also understood and she was pleased with it," said Brivio.
Rossi suffered a broken leg injury when doing the Italian Grand Prix practice session at the Mugello circuit last week. Impact, he was sentenced to be pulled from the track for five months
