Sport News - Valentino Rossi still has not decided which team will be racing for next season. Still, the mainstay of mechanical Rossi, Jeremy Burgess, seem to be faithful with Yamaha.
Several times lately, Rossi Santer reportedly will move to Ducati. Internal competition with Fiat Yamaha's Jorge Lorenzo was mentioned to be one that triggers the desire to move. Kans was more open because of one certain to be vacant seat Ducati rider Casey Stoner of certainty following a move to Honda.
When Rossi was moved, it looks like Rossi will not be accompanied by Burgess who has become a trusted over the last decade. Contrary to rumors stating Burgess will move to Honda, it turns out that Australian men prefer to stay at Yamaha.
"I've worked a long time with this team and I am happy here," said Burgess told La Gazzetta dello Sport quoted by Autosport.
"Win the race with Yamaha's more is that I want to do during the coming years," continued Burgess who also once worked with Wayne Gardner and Mick Doohan's.
Rossi-Burgess duet successfully gave birth to seven world titles in his king-class motor (three in the Honda and Yamaha four together). While total victory gained was 78 (33 with Honda and the other 45 on the Yamaha).
"I always say, the moment when Valentino's retirement, it could be the right time for me to stop. If he had chosen the other, there's no guarantee I'll go with him," says Burgess.
