Sport News - third place finish at Laguna Seca still feels like a victory for Valentino Rossi. How not if seven weeks ago he was still suffering from the injury must be severe.

"This is a good result for me and very important to me to be on the podium in no time. And I must thank the team and everyone who has helped me to be here."
"After the Sachsenring, we said that we wanted a podium at Laguna but I did a lot of difficulty in training sessions and even race. (Andrea) Dovizioso it is definitely faster than me, but slowly I could go back and pass," said Rossi.
The results he accomplished at Laguna Seca Rossi now inhabit a fifth MotoGP world championship. Fiat Yamaha rider was at odds 120 points from his team mate, Jorge Lorenzo, who is in first position.
