From GP to Health Workers in Africa

Sport News - The MotoGP race will take action on the sidelines of a charity performance MotoGP Indianapolis next weekend. The results will be given to health workers in Africa.

Form of charitable action is every driver will be auctioning off items or to sell hers. All the drivers confirmed to participate, including Jorge Lorenzo, Valentino Rossi, Ben Spies or Colin Edwards.

Ultimate quoted MotorCycling, the auction will be held on Friday (08/27/2010) at 10:30 to 12:10 noon local time, at the Indianapolis circuit.

All the money generated from this auction will be addressed to create a foundation for Healt riders. This foundation helps health workers in Africa so they could get transportation, especially motorcycles, which will be used to serve remote locations.

Team Rizla Suzuki for example, offers special packages for watching the auction winner will get a chance to see the Suzuki team working in a close race.

The winners will be invited to visit the Suzuki garage, see Saturday session from the pit wall and pit box and was on the grid with the Suzuki rider just before the start of the race on Sunday.

Such package ever offered to U.S. Suzuki in MotoGP at Laguna Seca last July. As a result, the package is sold for 16 500 dollars, or approximately USD 147 million.
