Assessment was made by Jeremy Burgess, dependable mechanic's Yamaha and Honda. Rossi cooperation with Burgess had so far produced seven world titles in primary classes, 500cc and MotoGP, namely three in the Honda and Yamaha four together.
Rossi had to make sure next season will move from Yamaha to join Ducati. The entire crew Rossi, including Burgess, reportedly will join migration, although Burgess was still not determined the future.
Rossi's decision to join the Ducati season since 2011 alone reap a number of reactions. There are doubts future of Rossi, although there is also a 31-year rate rider would remain tough.
When moving to Yamaha from Honda in 2004 ago, Rossi was also briefly considered "exhausted". However, he proved on the track by winning the championship at the end of the season.
In Burgess's eyes, it could be repeated again with Ducati Rossi, although there is also a big risk that hangs due to Rossi and Ducati are both icons in Italy.
"There's a big risk when recruiting Masao Furusawa Valentino in 2004. He knows that if he did not win in the Yamaha, its impact will be felt for Yamaha and I can not see it changing, and this situation is very sensitive," he told MCN.
"Valentino is an icon in Italy and so does the Ducati brand. But if success does not come then the (image) someone will be tarnished," Burgess straightforward.
