Rossi Can Perform at Sepang Test

Sport News - Valentino Rossi has undergone shoulder surgery. But one of the specialists who handle Rossi believes the Italian will be fit in time for the MotoGP test in Malaysia.

Rossi has initiated the rehabilitation after undergoing surgery on his shoulder in the hospital Cervesi in Cattolica, Sunday (14/11/2010) evening hrs. Normal time of healing may take as long as 90 days.

While the official MotoGP test at Sepang will be conducted on February 1, 2010. It's Rossi takes time to be able to recover faster because the distance is 79 days of official MotoGP testing schedule.

However, Doctor Alessandro Rossi Castagna who handles operations, revealed that Ducati has a chance to take the test in Malaysia in early February.

"Usually it takes 90 days and he only had 79 days until the first test. I'm sure if all went smoothly and no complications he was ready for it," said Dr Castagna as reported by the official MotoGP site.

"Phase inflammation (immediately after surgery) usually lasts from three to five days. The second stage is usually a month, a month and a half or two months during the capillaries helps cell production in the healing process," he said.

Rossi suffered an injury which he got during the middle of her Motokros around April. But Rossi's own injury was more severe than expected and had to undergo surgery to restore his injury.
