Satisfied Dovizioso, Pedrosa Disappointed
Losail - Two Honda ended last pre season tests with contrasting results. Andrea Dovizioso claiming satisfaction with the development of different motor but Dani Pedrosa.
Pedrosa apparently still not satisfied with the performance of the new bike. When the test Friday (19/3/2010) Honda is only in tenth position and in last day of the test Pedrosa worse off in the 13th position.
But unlike Dovizioso. Pedrosa teammates are in the sixth position in the test Friday and finally closed the last test session at the third position after Casey Stoner (Ducati) and Valentino Rossi (Yamaha).
No wonder Dovizioso also expressed his gembirannya. "I am very satisfied with the results of this two-day test because we achieve significant results in the future," he said as reported by Auto Sport.
"I am pleased to get the third fastest today because we have demonstrated progress in the consistency and speed, which is the result of hard work that made Honda and also my team," said Dovizioso.
While different feelings felt by Pedrosa. This Spaniard admitted that he was far from feeling satisfied with the performance of the bike and the thought of his preparation to face the opening series next month.
"We started to make improvements in the early evening session but after that we did not do anymore progress. So of course I'm not satisfied with the results of this test," complained Pedrosa.
"Of course we are not in a place where we want when the first race. Therefore, we will only do my best when we come back here and try to improve rapidly during training sessions," he said.
