However, until now Rossi has yet to recover completely and will not fit when the race was held on Sunday (02/05/2010).
"My back still hurts and we will see the first free practice sessions on what I can stay on top of the motor. For sure I would not be 100 percent," said Rossi was quoted as saying by Reuters.
This is clearly not good news considering the previous Rossi has started this season with remarkable after appearing to be the champion on the first series in Qatar. Rossi brings Yamaha's Jorge Lorenzo finished 1-2 with no second place.
