Musim 2012 Yamaha Mundur dari Superbike

Superbike - Musim ini menjadi musim terakhir Yamaha berlaga di World Superbike. Pabrikan asal Jepang itu memutuskan untuk mengundurkan diri dari kejuaraan tersebut per musim 2012.

Pengumuman pengunduran diri ini disampaikan Yamaha melalui situs resminya, Senin (1/8/2011) malam WIB. "Yamaha Motor Europe N.V. (YME) telah memutuskan untuk menarik tim Yamaha World Superbike Team di akhir musim kejuaraan tahun ini dari FIM Superbike World Championship."

"Pengumuman ini menyusul evaluasi penuh dari tim Marketing Operations di seluruh Eropa termasuk seluruh aktifitas olahraga otomotif dan yang menjadi pertimbangan adalah kondisi pemasaran roda dua yang secara cepat berubah dan secara berkelanjutan semakin berat," demikian alasan yang diberikan pabrikan asal Jepang itu.

Terkait dengan keputusan ini, maka fokus dan sumberdaya yang dimiliki Yamaha akan digunakan untuk aktivitas-aktivitas yang mereka sebut direct "Customer", guna meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan dan memberikan nilai tambah kepada kepemilikan Yamaha.

Yamaha berjanji untuk tetap tampil maksimal di sisa balapan musim 2011 ini, bahkan target juara tetap dicanangkan. "Pembalap Marco Melandri dan Eugene Laverty saat ini masih berada di peringkat ketiga dan keempat klasemen 2011 FIM Superbike World Championship dengan kompetisi masih menyisakan empat seri."

"YME dan tim akan terus berusaha semaksimal mungkin hingga akhir musim dan berusaha untuk kembali meraih juara yang pernah dimenangi Yamaha di tahun 2009."

Checa Replacing Kalio In Portugal And Valencia

Sport News - Mika Kallio certainly not going to race in the last two series of MotoGP in Portugal and Valencia. Position in the Pramac Ducati Kallio will replace senior rider, Carlos Checa.

Kallio and Pramac agreed to terminate cooperation between them after last weekend's Australian MotoGP. Kallio own use fitness reasons as the cause of termination of contract between two parties.

"Since in Japan, the pain in the left shoulder, due to an accident at Le Mans, the more severe. Biaggi The World Championship WSBK 2010

Sport News - Max Biaggi won the world championship WSBK 2010 despite competition still leaves one more round. This happened over the nearest competitor Biaggi, Leon Haslam had out in race 2 in Italy.

WSBK Race Result Kyalami Circuit 2010

World Superbike races at the Circuit kyalami, south africa very sharp. Show fight in the top three drivers to make the audience curious. Who else but Haslam, Rea and Biaggi.

Max Biagi who began the start of the seventh position straight into the second position when a new start in the beginning. three drivers took turns taking each other's position but starting from the first lap J.
