Motogp - Krisis ekonomi global ternyata berdampak juga terhadap perkembangan olahraga salah satunya motogp. Akibat krisis ekonomi yang tak kunjung usai ditambah lagi pertumbuhan ekonomi yang lambat di jepang akibat tragedi tsunami beberapa waktu lalu membuat honda harus memangkas anggaran di tahun depan.

Akibat tsunami honda mengalami penurunan produksi sekitar 30 persen, itu membuat pabrikan tersebut harus berfikir untuk tahun depan, dan sepertinya itu akan menjadikan tim pabrikan ini mengurangi pembalap mereka. Jika dilihat dari kontrak para pembalapnya sepertinya Andrea dovisiozo yang bisa di pastikan akan di depak dari tim.

Menurut bos Honda Racing, Shuhei Nakamoto saat ini hanya casey stoner dan dani pedrosa yang terikat kontrak dengan honda sampai tahun depan berakhir, selain dovisiozo simoncelli juga sepertinya ada indikasi menjadi korban pengurangan honda.

Honda Tes Motor 1000cc

Sport News - Selain Ducati, Honda diam-diam sudah melakukan ujicoba terhadap motor yang akan mereka gunakan untuk musim 2012. Motor 1000 cc tersebut dites dalam sebuah sesi di Jepang pekan lalu.

Dikutip dari Crash, ujicoba terhadap motor 1000 cc tersebut dilakukan di Sirkuit Suzuka pada 14 dan 15 April lalu. Pembalap penguji Kousuke Akiyoshi dan mantan rider 500cc Tady Okada diberi kepercayaan untuk menggeber tunggangan anyar tersebut.

Tak banyak informasi didapat media soal ujicoba pada motor yang belum punya nama resmi tersebut. Belum diketahui juga apakah Honda mengizinkan dua pembalapnya, Casey Stoner dan Ben Spies menunggangi motor tersebut.

Honda menjadi pabrikan kedua yang melakukan ujicoba pada motor 1000cc-nya setelah Ducati melakukan tes terhadap 2012 M1 di Jerez pada 8-9 April lalu. Sementara hingga kini belum diketahui bagaimana rencana Suzuki terkait motor yang akan mereka gunakan untuk tahun 2012.

Sport News - Para pembalap Honda tampil perkasa dalam sejumlah tes pramusim MotoGP. Meski demikian, Honda tak mau sesumbar mereka akan mendominasi kompetisi musim ini dan menilai para kompetitor akan bangkit.

Nyaris dalam semua hari tes pramusim, pembalap Honda selalu jadi yang tercepat. Casey Stoner, Dani Pedrosa, bahkan Marco Simoncelli bergantian mencatat waktu terbaik.

Menurut Wakil Presiden Eksekutif Honda, Shuhei Nakamoto, tak ada rahasia di balik kesuksesan timnya dalam tes pramusim.

"Tak ada rahasia. Kami hanya meneruskan konsep mesin tahun lalu dan kami mengembangkan banyak hal-hal kecil di banyak area berbeda, langkah demi langkah," ungkap Nakamoto, di situs resmi MotoGP.

"Itu cuma kombinasi antara pembalap yang bagus dan motor yang bagus pula. Transmisi baru yang mulai kami gunakan juga merupakan sebuah pengembangan. Namun, (Hiroshi) Aoyama yang berada di tim satelit dan tak memakai transmisi baru itu juga tetap kuat. Ini membuktikan bahwa motor secara keseluruhan sudah makin kuat," urainya.

Meski timnya tampil apik sepanjang pramusim, Nakamoto tak mau jumawa. Dia yakin para rivalnya akan menguat saat kompetisi sudah dimulai.

"Dua pembalap Factory Yamaha sangat kuat. Mereka mencapai catatan waktu yang sangat cepat dan tampaknya sangat konsisten. Jorge (Lorenzo) tetap cepat di trek panjang, baik di sini (Qatar) maupun di Sepang, dan Spies tampaknya lebih kuat dari musim lalu. Saya berharap mereka akan sangat kompetitif," imbuh Nakamoto.

"Di Sepang, catatan waktu Ducati memang tidak bagus, tapi di sini mereka mendekati kami. Saya juga berharap mereka akan kompetitif," tambahnya.

"Untuk Suzuki, dengan hanya satu pembalap saya pikir akan sulit. Tapi, sejauh ini mereka sudah melakukan pekerjaan dengan sangat baik," tutupnya.

Stoner Sebut Pedrosa dan Dovizioso Kompetitor
